It’s like summer :)

The end of this week was basically awesome. Thursday and Friday were completely GORGEOUS days. Friday, I spent most of the day outside with Kyle and Josh. It was in the 80′s all day and sunny and perfect! I got a little bit of a tan on my face, but I’m still working on the rest of me being tan. My legs could really use some color, especially if I’m planning on wearing shorts and skirts all summer.
Yesterday, I went shopping with my friend Kayla and she insisted on buying me something while we were out, so I finally settled on a cover for my phone. It’s pink with the Playboy bunny on the front. I’ll try to take a pic of it but it is really hard taking pictures when you don’t know what they look like lol. Yes, the camera is still busted. I’ll have to figure out a way of getting that fixed at some point. – - Later, Kyle and I went to Josh’s for a bonfire. Even though it rained on and off all night, it was pretty fun. There was one point where I had to give up and go inside. I wasn’t feeling well because I was cold, so I needed to just be alone for a while. Eventually we all ended up back inside the house because it started pouring!
I was soooo tired this morning when I got home – { I didn’t really fall asleep until 4 and we had to wake up at 9 } – so I took a nap – until about 3:30pm lol. All in all, it was a very eventful and fun weekend that began on Thursday. My only real disappointment was that I didn’t get to hang out with just Kyle at any point. I hadn’t been expecting to be doing so much, so I had planned some stuff to do, but then we ended up doing a ton other stuff. It was definitely fun though, for sure.

The good and the bad
Things this last week haven’t been too bad. Mostly, I’m looking forward to tomorrow and Friday. The weather is going to be beautiful and I’m fully planning on enjoying every moment of it. Friday is going to be in the 80′s, which will be truely amazingggggg I’m excited beyond belief! I hope I get a tan. I hope, I hope!
Hmm what else? I didn’t babysit today. Things at my sisters work have been slowing down, so lately it seems like I’m only babysitting once a week anymore. That, added onto the fact that my mom has had days off work (she works at a school) and she watched the nephew for me on those days. So my job is easy.
Lately, I’ve been feeling really good with my relationship. I mean, I’ve known for a long time that he makes me happier than I have probably been in years. But other than that, something lately just feels perfect. We’ve fallen into that stage where it’s just routine and comfortable, and at first I got nervous when I realized that was happening. All I kept thinking was that something would get lost. The spark or the excitement. But really, it hasn’t. I can spend all day at his house or with him here. We can still talk for hours and laugh and joke, or we can just lie together or even sit on our computers, doing our own things and I still get excited being with him. Today alone was just plain fun and I definitely fell more in love with him. It happens daily, I can’t help it 
The bad news is that my freaking camera screen got broken today. I’m not exactly sure how or when, because I just used it this afternoon and it was fine. But basically, I can still take pics and upload them, but I can’t see what I’m doing. That makes it a bit hard. Kyle is going to look at it tomorrow, but I don’t think there’s anything he can do about it. Depending on how much it will cost, it seems my only choice is going to be sending it in to get replaced. But if it’s too much, I can’t even do that and will have to shoot blindly. Ugh. Fantastic. I hate my luck sometimes.
I need tomorrow to bring up my mood, for sure. EEEEP!

Hey guys, so sorry for the lack of updating the past week or so. Things have been busy and, to top it all off, the internet at my house has been acting up. It will just completely stop working. Today, however, they sent someone out and he fixed the problem. It definitely seems to be loading everything much faster. I was kind of freaking out, as you could imagine. I am an internet addict, as you probably know by now!
The weather the last few days has been completely beautiful. Perfection, especially today. I actually got to wear my skirt today. That is, until I sat in motor oil in the back of Kyle’s truck. I hope that comes out!! Yesterday, he surprised me completely. A couple of weeks ago, he and I went to get food at Burger King and we noticed these flowers growing in this ditch between BK and CVS or Walgreens.. whichever one is on that side of the road lol. I had said they were pretty, but it was too cold to get out and pick one, not to mention I was kind of tired at that point. So yesterday, he shocked me by leaving for a while and coming back with one of those flowers. A pretty little yellow flower that is currently in a cup of water on my nightstand (yes, the very same flower in the picture above). I totally love it. It smells super pretty
Tomorrow is one of our lovely anniversaries. How will I be spending it? Alone, in my room, working on layout requests. How will he be spending it, alone, at his house, working on a paper. Happy anniversary, honey! :/
Somehow, I will figure out a way to make up for missing out on any time together this weekend. I don’t know how, but I’ll figure it out.

I’m so sorry!
Hey guys, I’m so terribly sorry I have been so completely slacking in these posts lately! Ahhh! I’m just so distracted by so many things, it’s hard to keep up with them all. Website isnt exactly booming, but it isnt a total failure either. I’m still giving it time to grow. I have some ideas up my sleeve, but this whole time thing is becoming more difficult to manage – maybe it’s time to get my priorities straight – more boyfriend, books and Ben Mackenzie (new show = addiction) and less sleeping, eating and bathing. Clearly, weeding out those useless things is the best way to go
This weekend I had a new experience. One should always try new things sometimes, of course. I went to a club. And apparently, I was doing something right. Atleast the 20+ guys who stared at me and the 6ish who asked me to dance thought so. Sorry boys, the boyfriend thing isnt exactly optional. He’s mine, I’m his and the only one I’d dance with at a place like that is him or my girls And yet, one dude totallyyyyy didn’t realize this. Single most creepy moment of my life – I was dancing with some friends and some guy that I dont know just came up and started dancing with me. All I know is I felt hands on my hips, leaped forward and was in between Kayla and Drew in about 6 seconds flat. And I spend the rest of the night being saved by my heroes (Kayla, Drew, Will & Amanda – thanks guys!) and feeling completely disgusted. Ew. So it is decided – I can’t go back there without my boyfriend. Ever. Never. Nope. Ew.
Easter was ummm… ok. Had yummy breakfast. Had yummy dinner. Didn’t do much of anything in between those two meals. After dinner I went over to Kyle’s house to play cards. It was one of the few good points in my day. Holidays seem to hate me, especially when I’m going on 5 hours of sleep. But I managed to PWN at cards
After feeling stressed and anxious, a morning of cuddling and sleeping in the boyfriends arms was, as always, the miracle cure. Thanks cuteness. Don’t know what I’d do without you.
Tomorrow I’m plotting all sorts of fun things And sleeping in until 9 is one of them!

Easy Week.
This week has so far been quite an easy one. I hung out with my friend Mariena on Monday – we went to the mall for a while (walked around it a good three times lol) and I got a cute new shirt from Charlotte Russe. It was only $6.99 – I think I should go back and do some more shopping via clearance racks for cute summer clothes. Yesterday was just kind of a lazy, hang out with Kyle kind of day. I like those days And today was babysitting and Kyle and a random visit from my aunt and grandma. I think tonight will be a good time to work on some website stuff. All day I’ve been wishing it was warm outside because I want to go on an adventure! I don’t know why or where, I just do. And a camera would be involved, for certain. Eeeep.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow (sleeping in!) and Friday (no babysitting and no school for Ky!). But my gosh this week has flown by! I blame omgpop.com – it’s clearly all their fault for making letter blox and their other games so addicting! (obviously) It sucks away time, I’m telling ya! Ooo.. that reminds me, I need to read before my books are due back! Oh dear.

Time for an update!
I know 100% that I should not post a non-rant blog when I’m in a bad mood, but I’m hoping this will put me in a slightly better mood, so here we go!
So typically, I’m not one of those girls who flips out if I break a nail or anything like that, but I’ve always been a little self conscious of my hair, so without a straightener, I kinda panic a bit. Well, on Friday, my straightener broke. I don’t know what happened, but my best guess is that the kind I got just burns out after about a year because this is the SECOND one I’ve had break on me. It works so well, but both times they broke after a little over a year. Lame as this makes me, I had to get a new one right away. I went to Target and decided on a Revlon one (my old one was ConAir) because it was in my price range, sounded the best out of the other ones and it’s pink, which wasnt the deciding factor, but it is a perk I tried it out later that night and I loveee it! It heats up soo much faster than my old one – yay!
That night I was supposed to hang out with my friend, Kayla, but things got messed up with that so Kyle and I ended up going to our friend Josh’s house, had a bonfire with some friends and just had a fun time. And incase you’re curious, no there wasn’t drinking or anything like that. (the boyfriend & I don’t drink) We really just had a fire and talked and the boys burned random things lol. I wish I had taken pictures, but I left my camera inside and never felt motivated enough to go get it!
Yesterday was just recovering from the long night and discovering a new game on OMGPOP.com with Kyle and Josh – fun stuffs We spent hours playing that both at Josh’s house and my house after Ky’s bro came and picked us up haha. Today has been boring beyond belief because my boyfriends mom hates me. Long story :/

What to do?
So far, the website is doing good. I have a couple requests that are soon-to-be-made, but they are still trying to figure out what they want. But as far as site traffic goes, it is doing very well! I’m excited to see requests start coming in – I honestly think I will scream when I get the first order and payment in lol.
Today was the first day I kinda didn’t babysit! My nephew did come over today, but I really didn’t have to watch him except for a few minutes. I got to go snuggle all morning with my love It was a much missed simple thing that I truely love. It’s part of my weekly routine – Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are wake Kyle up and sleep and extra few hours at his house days. I’m so thrown off when I don’t do that lol. It was nice to just hang out with him today. And tomorrow, I don’t have any babysitting at all! Horrayyyy
I’m already nearly finished with the first book I’m reading. (The Five People You Meet In Heaven) It’s quite short, so that isnt surprising. But it’s also really good too. I’ve seen the movie version that was on tv a few years ago, so I was interested in reading the book, knowing books are almost always better than the movie. So far, I’m really enjoying it! Anyone else have good books they could suggest? I really am into a lot of different kinds of books. My boyfriend thinks because I’m obsessed with Twilight and have read books about drug addiction and rape, that those are the kinds of books I like lol. Actually, I just like anything that is written well enough to make me want to know what’s going to happen next. So seriously, suggest away!
I have so many things I need to get done, I don’t know where to begin! Time to organize my thoughts. What to do:

Work on a myspace for the website
Finish The Five People You Meet in Heaven
Organize desk/work area
Relax?

It is official! :)
My website is open for business as of tonight! So far, tons of people have been stopping by the site – I had nearly 50 hits in under an hour But no requests (officially) yet. I do have a few people who I know are planning on making requests, but I JUST opened the site an hour ago and it’s late in the day – I wasnt expecting a pouring in of requests tonight. Mostly, I just promised to open it today and wanted to stick to my word. So it’s open and hopefully I’ll get some requests in soon. I’ll have more Ad banners up for people to post on their profiles and stuff too. That way, even if they can’t purchase a layout, they can get me more business by advertising to their friends. Yikes, I’m nervous and excited! It’s finally open!
And in the non-internet world (I know, I was shocked one of those existed too!), I had a very nice day today! My sister didn’t go to work today, so I got to go over to Ky’s this morning and nap with him before his classes. It was sooo nice. I realized that I hadn’t been out of the house since Friday! Then I came home and played with the nephew for a while before Ky got out of class. We went to the library & I got three books:

Major thanks to Carrie (a girl I’m friends with on Xanga and myspace) because if not for her, I wouldn’t have known what to get! I always like to know what I want before going and since you can get on the library website and see if they’re on shelf, I like to know ahead of time. So I was on this website she uses to keep track of books she’s read (I commented her on xanga the other day and asked her to recommend some books) and I was basically finding any that looked interesting and checking to see if they were on shelf. I couldn’t go through them all, so I picked a few and three were there so I stuck with those! I don’t know which to read first, but I’ll figure that out once I get offline!
After we went to the library and stopped at the pet store to pick up crickets for Kyle & TJ’s lizards, we went back to his house before finally deciding to go to Steak & Shake for dinner. Oh my goshhh it was GOOD! I love their shakes. I probably gained like 10lbs from the shake and my chicken strips & fries, but it was pretty worth it. Actually, speaking of weight, I’ve been losing some which is good, considering I’m trying to do just that before summer! Also, I tried out a new make up style today. It had some purpleish tints to it to be a little more lighter and summer-y. But nothing too crazy. I need to get new eyeshadows and some other things. I need a shopping trip to get some face supplies! It’s on my to-do list, amung other things. Ahhh life
The flash kept making this look bad so I finally just gave up lol
